Congratulations to Mary Carroll of Dartmouth….she and three quests of her choice will be taking in the Eastern Passage-Cow Bay Summer Carnival Fireworks on the front deck of the 105.9 SEASIDE-FM Broadcast House, while enjoying some BBQ goodies, desert and refreshments! The Carnival Fireworks are slated for this Wednesday evening at 9:45, rain date Sunday August 8th

Do any groups do bottle drives anymore? Scouts, Athletic Association... Giving away empties is a great way to donate as it saves a trip to the EnviroDepot.

Ok, prepare for a rant! Why, WHY in this nice quiet family street, does some "nice man" decide he needs to rev his modified motocycle to a high decibel and wake my child up. I know, it's 8:15 but this street has at least 10-13 kids under the age of 7 that would be in bed or close to it at this hour. The "nice man" has no kids...wonder if he'd like to get my 2 year old back to sleep before going on his "nice" ride. OK, I'm done...gotta go comfort a screaming kid....AGAIN!

Creativekid... I live on Cow Bay Road, and if I walked through the woods across the street from my place, I'd be in Briarwood, so you might also want to be aware of raccoons too... tho they're not as smelly as a skunk, the can def harm small dogs or cats!

A SKUNK has come to visit out back of our place! Brairwood, Rosewood; Caldwell Rd area... make sure your dogs are going out on the leash or they may not be coming back in anytime soon and keep the cats in... lol
