Am relocating to Eastern Passage in June, and am looking for work in HR. I have a particular interest in Travel/Tourism, in Decorating/Design, Builders' New Home Staging, and in the Airline Industry. Would appreciate any assistance in leads or employment opportunities that you know of. Thanks.

We are desperately in need of a new home as the one we currently are renting is moldy and the landlord is doing nothing about it.

Drivers told to turn lights on or face fines

Motorists in Nova Scotia can no longer use the excuse that they’re in the dark about the province’s headlight laws.

RCMP say the grace period is over, and people driving without daytime running lights or headlights on will be charged.

The law went into effect on April 1, 2009, but police didn't always issue tickets until now.

Police say research shows the use of lights during the day reduces crashes by 10 to 15 per cent, collisions with animals by 10 per cent and car-pedestrian collisions by 25 per cent.

The fine for driving without headlights or lights is $167.71.

HEADLIGHTS i have seen many cars driving around the passage with only one headlight it is really dark in many parts of the passage you should check to make sure both your headlights are working it is safer for all that way
